Art Demonstrations and a Group Art Critiques are held at Monroe Arts Cernter the 4th Tuesday of each month. Come listen to a guest presenter at 1:00pm. Then share samples of your art with the group if you wish. We follow positive and constructive critique guidlines. All art forms are well recieved and there is no cost to attend and we are done by 3:00pm

MAC Gallery Director, will be discussing what is necessary for anyone or any group that wants to exchibit in the MAC galleries.

SAVE THE DATE! Adult Plein Air Workshop June 15 @ 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Seasons of the Sugar River — plein air workshop
Come explore the watershed at this one-day sketching, drawing, and painting workshop led by artists Jan Norsetter and Jonathan Wilde.
Jan and Jonathan will share their expertise as you capture the beauty of the Lower Sugar Watershed.
The workshop will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Land Conservancy’s scenic Three Waters Reserve.
Participants should bring their own supplies (see registration form for a list) and a box lunch. All skill levels welcome. Jan and Jonathan will lead two separate demonstrations and provide individual instruction to participants throughout the day.
Please register early, as space is limited. Please register no later than Friday, May 24, 2019. The cost to the public is $100. Evening ART OUT AT THE SHED
DAA Member, Patrick McGowan invites us to his Art Shed at N6886 Cnty N for the evening. Come at 6:00 pm and to do art. Bring whatever you need to make art. Also bring water to use as we hgave to go to the house otherwise, which is ok, but it interupts the creative mode. LOL We can bring snacks and wine or sodas also. Below is pictured the outside and the inside of the shed which is located behind Patrick and Lori's house.
TDAA PAINT OUT AND STUDIO VISIT
August 17th the Driftless Area Artists will be lmaking art in the Monticello, WI Parks. Claim a space on the banks of lovely Lake Montican or in the flowers gardens to the north side of the village just off of Hwy 69. Come do whatever suits your style. At noon we will break for lunch and gather at Linda Shannon's home. Bring your own sack lunch, please, and Linda will have beverages for us. Let's also bring a desert to share. Linda will open her studio where she paints and teache classes for us. If you can only come for Lunch, do that. Linda will be painting outside so the studio is only available over the noon hour. Studio is at 509 Coats Avenue. That is the street that enters town beside the Bank building.
