The WARP Reception for artists and the publlic will be held at the Monroe Arts Center on Thursday, April 11th from, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Many artists from around the area will show their work. You can expect art of a variety of mediums to be on display. Judges awards will be posted.
MEET THE DAA ARTISTS IN NEW GLARUS
Members of the Driftless Area Artists will gather in the Community Room behind the New Glarus Public Library with numerous samples of their art. Doors will open from 5:00 to 7:00pm for the public to view art and chat with artists from the area. Cookies and lemonaid will be availabe, and you just might wish to create a bit of art yourself during your visit. If you wish to take a piece of DAA art home with you, you can make arragements with the artist on site. This is the Third year the NGPL has sponcered a MEET THE ARTIST NIGHT with the DAA. Friday evening, April 26th MEET THE ARTIST NIGHT
Three paintings were accepted and are currently being displayed at the Dellora A. Norris Cultural Art Center in St. Charles, Illinois. The art show titled, "Watercolor 2019" is running from Saturday, February 23rd to Sunday, April 14th. Check out their website for more details: www.norrisculturalarts.com.
The paintings are: "Evening Cranes", "Legacy Thanksgiving" and "Heaven Is A Barn".

owners of The Soap Opera located on State Street in Madison.
Mr. Bauer was one of the founding members of The Driftless
Area Artists group approximately 20 years ago.
