ART EXHIBITS OUR DAA MEMBERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT
HOME artist
Chuck Bauer
On exhibit in the Wellington and Muranyi Gallieries at the Monroe Arts Center was the art work of DAA member, Chuck Bauer. His oil paintings of homes in and around his Madison neighborhood are a bounty of color and light.
Chuck stepped forward to fill a gap when a scheduled artist was unable to fill the galleries.
There was a reception in March for Chuck.
Exhibited in the Robert and Nan Rudd Gallery
Also on exhibit at the Monroe Arts Center in the Rudd Gallery were abstract paintings by artist Hanna Bauer. Her show, titled "Quiet Control" is a combination of large acrylic art canvases and poetry written by Hanna as she explores and deals with her emotions and experience. She added to each painting what she calls her "Scribbles." Unique art from an unique artist.
